Prayer Points 11th March 2011

End Times Prayer Meeting - 11^th March 2011

Scriptures: Psalm 18:7, 46:1-11, 60:2, 62:6, 82;1-8, Isaiah 2:17-22, 13:9-13, Jeremiah 4;20-25, Joel 2:10,11; Haggai 2:4-9, Hebrews 12;26-29

A time of shaking, both literal and figurative, Hills = small governments, Mountains = large governments, Sun, moon, stars = angels, astrological beings, heavenly powers that lie behind evil regimes (e.g “Prince of Persia” in Daniel 10). God is shaking the nations, and breaking the principalities and powers for the End Times. He is also literally shaking the Earth. My personal belief is that we are in the End Times spiritual battle of Revelation 12 where Satan and his angels are being defeated by the archangel Michael and his angels and are being forced to earth. Satan shall fall last (and be forced into a human body as the Anti-Christ in Revelation 13) but many of his lesser angels are being cast out of the heavenly realms to earth now and it is a time that is 'woe to the earth and the sea and all who is in it”. We need to pray for God's mighty spiritual victories at this opportune time!

ISRAEL - SPIRITUAL

For the Jews to be awakened to the fact that Jesus is their Messiah, Lord and Savior. That the veil over their heart (2 Corinthians 3:14) would be removed. And for the divinely promised revival when “All Israel will be saved” (Romans 11:26)
For the protection of Messianic Jewish communities in Israel and for freedom to spread the gospel in Israel and for the honoring of the Christian faith there.
For the peace of Jerusalem: Psalms 122:6-9 MKJV

ISRAEL – POLITICAL

For wisdom to be given to Israel and its leaders on how to handle the current Mid-East crisis.
For the security of Israel and for the confounding and defeat of the enemies of Israel.
For great economic blessings and for the security of the new natural gas fields. Jerusalem Post just reported Israel has been found to have the 3^rd largest oil shale deposits in the world!

LIBYA

For the spiritual powers and principalities behind the government of Qaddafi to be toppled in the heavenly realms so that victory can be won on the ground against this violent and mad dictator.
For the swift overthrow of Qaddafi and for his replacement to be tolerant of Christians and missionaries.
For the USA and NATO to act in bold, strong, definite, clear and powerful way against Qaddafi.

EGYPT & OTHERS

That a stable and secular government will be formed in Egypt and that the role of the Muslim Brotherhood in this government will be marginalized.
That the anti-gospel principalities and powers that lie behind the Islamic dictatorships of the Middle East will be cast down and rendered powerless.
That God will use the unrest in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Iran, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan, for His glory and for the spread of the gospel.
That the State security forces will be so wrapped up with the unrest that they will be unable to monitor the activities of Christians.
That world oil supplies will not be overly disrupted and that this unrest will lead to a breakdown of the unity within OPEC and the price-fixing on oil prices. That this in turn will lead to vast loss of economic and political power in Islam.

IRAN, SYRIA ETC

That the growing military alliance between Iran, Syria and Lebanon will be disrupted. Iran has just established a military base in Syria. That any possibility of war with Israel will be rendered impossible. That the recent US support ( an official delegation led by Jimmy Carter) for the President of Syria, Bashar Assad (a monstrous dictator), may be short-lived and ineffective.
That the Iranian opposition will gain strength and be aided by international forces.
Uranium was removed from one of the Iranian nuclear reactors as it was completely disabled by the Stuxnet worm. However Russia is assisting in reprocessing the uranium and helping to restore the reactor. Pray for a complete end to Iran's nuclear ambitions. Last week Pres. Obama “recognized the reality of a nuclear-armed Iran” a major and dangerous concession.

JAPAN

Recovery from the earthquake and tsunami, for the safety of the Japanese people, tourists and visitors etc.
Japan is less than 1% Christian, pray that this leads people to ask questions about God, the End Times, what is happening etc and to find answers in the Bible and ultimately of course in Christ Jesus.
Much of the resistance to the gospel is because it is seen as foreign and Western, pray that the compassionate Western response may open people's hearts toward foreigners and hence indirectly, also toward the gospel.

CHURCH & MISSIONS

For protection of the persecuted church and its leaders and for the spread of the gospel in the “hard places” of the earth (the Muslim, Hindu, Communist and Buddhist nations).
For global revival and for the spread of the gospel through powerful and unusual means such as satellite broadcasts, radio, TV computers, mobile phones and the Internet to reach the last, the least ad the lost.
For the raising up of great, holy men and women of god to teach, preach, lead and shepherd the Church.
For holiness and for the end of wrong doctrine, cults, sin, compromise and wickedness among God's people.

USA

Economic wisdom for the Federal and State governments and the major economic agencies on how to balance budgets, maintain services etc. For people to be able to keep their jobs.
Godly wisdom for the President, Vice-President, Congress, Supreme Court, Homeland Security and the military and for the protection if our troops in Afghanistan and around the world, and for the truth to prevail.
Revival in the churches and protection of Christians and churches both spiritually and physically as things become more complicated in society, and for protection of pastors from litigation.

This month's End Times Prayer Meeting will coincide with Rosh Hashanah -
the Jewish New Year!

It will be on the 2nd Friday of September (10th September) at 7:00 pm

John & Minda Edmiston's place - 304 E. Realty St. Carson CA 90745

We will split into two groups again and also split the 40 prayer points
into two lots of twenty and assign them to each group. (This is so you
can actually finish the prayer points!)

I will also arrange the topics a bit better this time.

We will pray for a blessed New Year for Israel and for the current world
situation, for America and for spiritual progress around the globe.

We will also have a time where we pray for personal requests such as
jobs, health and finances.

Light refreshments will be served. Feel free to ask your friends.

We will be praying for Israel, world events, the persecuted church and the USA

Due to growth in numbers we will be breaking into groups for more effective praying.

Just a reminder about the End Times Prayer meeting this Friday, 7:30pm,

The End Times Prayer Meeting is a straight-out prayer meeting that
focuses on praying for Israel, revival, the End Times, world events, the
Church esp. the persecuted Church and for the USA. Bring your bibles and
be "prayed up" and filled with the Spirit !! We will pray though about
40 prayer points and Scriptures. Please invite your friends and anyone
who might be interested..

We will have a special guest - Bro. Ebenezer Samuel who has a wonderful
church-planting ministry in India. He will be "straight off the plane'
and will stay the weekend with us.

About the End Times Prayer Meeting

This is a monthly prayer meeting to pray for issues involving Israel and the return of Jesus Christ and also for moral and spiritual revival. The End Times Prayer Meeting is for evangelical and charismatic Christians who are feeling a great need to "do something" and to bring current world situations before God's Throne of Grace.

It will be held on the 2nd Friday of each month commencing on the 11th June 2010 and the prayer points will also be posted here.

The physical location is in Carson, California (between Long Beach and Torrance), just email us below and we will give you our address so you can attend.
